Welcome

Welcome to 'A Frample', a confused tangle of columns, prose poems and lyrics. It's not so much a blog as an online folder, lying somewhere between a drawer and the bin.

Everything is just something

April 19, 2018

Take a little bit of that, add a little of this
The last time you held a hand, that first kiss
Everything is just something,
That’s finally found a home.

A night you’ll remember, a morning never to forget
Tomorrow’s burning hope, built on a stinging regret
Everything is just something,
That’s finally found a home.

Knowing you had a choice, but what you did was right
Years of trying, and one minute in the spotlight
Everything is just something,
That’s finally found a home.

Words that carry you, the echo of a laugh
The memory that outlasts a fading photograph
Everything is just something,
That’s finally found a home.

Wrapped up against the cold, or watching the setting sun
Grateful for another day that’s nearly done
Everything is just something,
That’s finally found a home.
